Kandili Greek Island (vigil lamp)

Representing continuous prayer and hope the kantili is placed near an eikon and represents Jesus Christ and Christianity  as the light of the world.

This beautifully made ceramic lamp is both serene to look at and serves a religious purpose. 
The small ceramic container at back is for placement of a LED tea light candle  with candle light filtering through the holes at the top of the kantili.
